Hawaii 2013

 Matt and I had the opportunity to go see some friends in Hawaii the end of May.  They just moved out there and we figured there was no better time to go visit than for their daughter's first birthday!  We had such a great time.  We spent our time in Hawaii on the Island of Kauai.  We loved it and had great tour guides!  We did a little bit of everything.  Matt and I went on a helicopter tour of the island, sunbathed by the pool at Kakuiula, enjoyed Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach, drove to Princeville and saw the lighthouse and hiked to a look out point on the Napali Coast, kayaked to a beach area and hiked through mud for 30 minutes to a really pretty waterfall, experienced an awesome 1st Birthday Luau, played golf, had wine at the Farm at Kakuiula, and had an unforgettable beach bonfire!  We cannot thank Andy and Kelsey enough for the great time we had.  And...John and Linda for keeping the kids for a week!  I know for certain they didn't feel like they were on vacation, but I am certain the kiddos had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa!

 

Memorial Day 2013

 We spent Memorial Day this year at Lake Conroe!  We had so much fun playing and swimming with Alex, Tyler, Nana, and Papa!  The girls always love seeing cousins and playing on Nana and Papa's boat and in the water!  They are becoming really good swimmers!!!

In May we welcomed Baby Josiah!

 The girls got a new cousin in May and Matt and I got a new nephew!  He had a rough first few weeks, but he's doing great now!  Welcome to the family Baby Josiah!!  The girls couldn't wait to meet you!!

 

Insperity Golf Tournament

Matt and I had the opportunity to attend the Insperity Golf Tournament in The Woodlands!  It was so much fun!  Sad to say, but it was my first golf tournament!!  I didn't know any of the players, but I can see myself going to another one sometime!
