Last year Matt and I purchased a "nicer" camera so I could start a photography hobby. I thought photography would be a nice thing for me to be able to do alone. I have since figured out, it is much harder than it looks to take a good picture!! So many things to think about and so many buttons on the camera!! Needless to say, I haven't had much luck with learning all about it...I'm considering taking a class at the college!?!? Anyway, here are some pictures I took of Taylor.

Mimi and Papa Ed came to visit!!!
This is what I woke up to this morning...isn't it precious! She usually sleeps on her hands like that!
Taylor and Papa Ed! Mimi and Papa Ed came to visit this weekend to see Taylor and Alex. I'm sure they came to see the rest of us too! We were glad to see them, and Taylor loved sleeping in their arms!
More pictures of Taylor this morning! Not many people get to see her eyeballs! She is staying awake more and more during the days! But she seems to really enjoy the mornings!

Easter Pictures!
This is what Matt and I do when we get bored. Doesn't she look cute in the basket. Maybe next time we will decorate the basket and make it even cuter!
Easter Sunday was Taylor's first trip to church. Saturday night Matt and I decide we would attempt to be up and ready for the 8:30am service. However, in the middle of the night, I realized that probably wouldn't happen, so I started aiming for the 9:40am Sunday School and 10:50am service. Needless to say, we didn't make that happen either...10:50am service is all we made it to, and we were just a tad late for that also. Anyway, we made it and Taylor was perfect during church. She was wide awake for the music and slept right through the sermon.
We went to lunch at Nana and Papa's house! The Easter bunny came to their house...Alex was quick to find his goodies.
Nana wanted to take pictures outside. So here are our best attempt at family pictures!!
For dinner we had the Wilcox family over for steaks and baked potatoes!! Here are Taylor and Johnny bonding!! Johnny is so cute, and growing so much!! Matt and I were skinny kids growing up, so Taylor doesn't even have a chance at keeping up with Johnny!
We went to the Pediatrician again today and Taylor went from 5lb 11oz on Friday to 6lb 5oz today!! Yeah!! Hopefully all up hill from here in the weight department!!

First Trip to the River!
Ok, so we didn't take any pictures while we were there...bad bloggers! But we did have a wonderful time and enjoyed seeing everyone! Trey, our good friend from Rosenberg, turned 30 this past week. His wonderful wife planned a surprise party for him this weekend at their river house south of Houston! Matt and I took Taylor down there for the day! She traveled great! She also slept most of the time we were there. We had some crawfish and enjoyed the great weather! Taylor later let me know she doesn't appreciate the crawfish...we had a long night, and I promised her no more crawfish until she can peel them herself!! We promise to take pictures next time! Happy 30th Birthday Trey!!
Taylor had her first doctor appt on Tuesday. She did great. No shots yet, just a check up. She was back up to 5lbs 13.5oz, which the doctor said was good. Only in the 5th to 10th percentile, but we'll take it!! We have an appointment next Wednesday and they expect her to be back to her birth weight. I would personally LOVE that....IF she is back up to her birth weight they said we wouldn't have to wake her to feed her during the night.
