August 2017

August 2017 rounded out the summer for us!  School has started back up, whew!  My belly continues to get bigger and bigger!  We enjoyed staying close to home in August!  Flooding happened the last week in August during Matt's birthday weekend and the girls got a long weekend home from
school!  Glad we were high and dry.  Kids on the street enjoyed the 'high' water and the snakes came out to play!  Matt's office got just enough water to cause some floors/walls to be replaced.  The solar eclipse came close, if you call Wyoming close.  The older girls got to enjoy looking at it with special glasses at school.  Matt got his hands on some glasses and came home to share the experience!  It was neat, but it didn't really get darker!  Nana and Papa were driving from Colorado to Wyoming and got a much more 'real' experience with it becoming very dark in the middle of the day!  In a few years it comes close again and we will enjoy it again then.
